My love for UX design comes from a constant quest for improvement and a true desire to craft something meaningful by understanding the human experience. My journey in design began in 2020 when I found myself in a job that seemed pointless to me, limiting my potential and leaving me with a sense of stagnation. During that period I started a personal blog in which constant design and content improvement helped me to realize what I wanted to pursue and the new educational adventure quickly followed.
After completing a two-year Master's Degree in Web Design, I took on a self-paced journey to polish my skills in UX design and technical knowledge.
Over the past two years, I have accumulated experience in developing Saas enterprise products and web design freelance, so I gained the experience of being a "design team of one" and also collaborating well with a team of other designers, product managers, and developers. The philosophy I try to follow in my work is simple: "Designing with Empathy, Creating with Purpose" and this is something that I pursue not only in my career but in life too.
Outside of work, I like to relax with a good show or a book, do yoga or lift weights, and go on adventures.
My design process
When I join a new project the first thing I try to do is understand business goals and blend with the people I will work with the most, by booking 15-minute 1-1 meetings just to say hi and introduce myself. My strategic pillar is building trust and healthy relationships at work with diverse people on the project, so I can gain more insights, learn, and bring value. For me, there is no one straightforward process that I follow, because the tasks and projects may vary, but I use the following one as my blueprint to navigate through project uncertainty.
