www.print.bg

Print.bg is a digital web-to-print platform for ordering marketing materials and accessories online. My role was to design an intuitive web product that streamlined the ordering process, reduced customer support costs, and provided a seamless experience for users.

Process & Approach
I structured the project by defining key pages and activities needed at each design stage. My process included:
Stakeholder interviews and user surveys to validate user needs.
Competitive analysis to understand market positioning.
Sketches and user flows to brainstorm with the client.
An interactive prototype as the final deliverable.
User Research
A survey of 19 business clients identified two key target groups:
Small & medium enterprises – brand managers, trade marketers, sales managers, HR, and marketing specialists.
Individuals – graphic designers, entrepreneurs, and hobbyists.
The insights guided product focus and order delivery preferences.
Competitive Analysis
Studied local competitors (J-point Workshop, WePrint, Mania Print) and global leaders (VistaPrint) to differentiate Print.bg. The main USP was a quick price calculator on the homepage and product pages, allowing users to visualize pricing at different quantities.
Key Design Solutions
Homepage: A "mega menu" for intuitive navigation across product categories. Informational icons visually outline the purchase process, ensuring clarity.
Product Pages: Predefined price levels, classic dropdowns for selection, and a sticky product image for better user experience.
Inclusivity: FAQ sections clarify printing requirements for users with varying levels of expertise.
Payment Gateway: Designed as a multi-step form for seamless checkout. Certain payment restrictions (e.g., cash on delivery for large amounts) were implemented to minimize business risk.
